Dr. Denise, a licensed Physical Therapist, has been helping her patients/clients achieve lives brimming with ease, peace, and well-being since 1992. Because of her wellness struggles and journey Dr. Denise understands the value of a complete and holistic approach to bringing changes to your health and fitness (physical and mental).

When she became a Certified Health and Life Coach, Dr. Denise found her true passion. As a Certified Health and Life Coach, Dr. Denise helps her patients/clients self-manage their complete health and wellness needs.

To her role as Health and Life Coach, Dr. Denise adds her expertise in fitness, nutrition, mindfulness practices, and self-empowerment strategies. She uses evidence-based coaching techniques to facilitate patients/clients to create a mindset for successful behavioral change and achieve the fantastic results they want from their coaching sessions.

Dr. Denise is excited to bring her expertise to Synergy. She will consult and collaborate with the Synergy providers to facilitate patient carry over with their individualized treatment plan designed specifically to produce optimal health and wellness.

Dr. Denise has earned a doctorate in Physical Therapy and has acquired multiple licenses and certificates in health, wellness, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), one of the most advanced technologies today for creating human change both in individuals and groups. She has also traveled extensively with her work, enabling her to work with people of varied backgrounds and cultures. She has also served as faculty and adjunct faculty with Griffith and Old Dominion Universities.

You may find Dr. Denise power walking through her neighborhood in Virginia and playing with her two adorable fur babies in her downtime. She lives with her husband and son.
